Environmental

Industry leaders for utilising the most environmentally sustainable products and processes in line marking and specialist surfacing.

Environmental concerns form our core belief and have guided and directed every decision made in the development of the business. As a result QMS is regarded as one of the leaders within the road-marking industry for the use of environmentally sustainable systems.

HyperLine™ reduces CO₂ emissions by over 80% in comparison to thermoplastics. Plastic free, containing no solvents and cold applied - removing requirement to heat equipment to produce a molten product. Zero risk of burn injuries for crews. Installation is extremely fast achieving 80% higher outputs therefore significantly reducing fuel consumption.

Since 2009 QMS has saved over 2,000,000 kgs of CO₂ emissions with this product alone.

QMS has always installed products with lead-free pigments and refuses to use highly toxic and corrosive chlorinated rubber paints because waterborne materials are a superior, environmentally-friendly alternative.

Care and respect for the environment covers every aspect of our business including aiding our manufacturer to redesign packaging for HyperGrip™ to eliminate contaminated metal going to landfill.

In 2019 91.2% of waste generated by QMS was successfully recycled.

Only plant with the lowest carbon footprint is purchased for the operational team.

Accredited to ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard, our philosophy focuses on end-to-end sustainability installing the highest performing and most durable materials.

We strongly believe that our work, our actions and those whom we employ should minimise the amount of damage to the environment, we will continue to employ this philosophy for the benefit of everyone.
